When people took the time to shop for real foods and make home cooked meals for the family. The stores are amazing, the breads, cookies, the meats, home made sausages & cheeses - if you can't visit you can order online. If you can visit, you will never forget it.
- Jacques Torres Chocolate Haven, NYC - Spend a day in a cacao pod shaped chocolate factory. See the beans be roasted, shelled & ground into chocolate nibs & transformed the into chocolate creations. The equipment is both state-of-the-art & vintage
- Hammond Candies - Denver, CO visit an old fashion candy factory. See candy made by hand; hand-pulled & hand -twisted
- Wave Hill Bread - Bakers Mitchell Rapoport & Margaret Sapir make one bread at their bakery in Fairfield County, CT : a three-grain Pain de Campagne. This bread is quite possibly the best bread in the east 196 Danbury Road (Off Route 7)Wilton, CT 203-762-9595 baked every morning except Tues & Weds - they don't have a website yet - keep your fingers crossed!

Home to their wonderful restaurant Blue Hill at Stone Barn, harvest to table dining. We enjoyed a wonderful tour and purchased fresh eggs, salad greens, bershire pork and tiny strawberries!
